Hear from Our Customers

The concealed kitchen has evolved beyond merely a place for food preparation and dining. Breaking away from traditional norms, the kitchen has emerged as a pivotal social space and arguably the heart of the home. It is not just a place for whipping up culinary delights, but also serves as the stage for family game nights and more. As we transition into the era of concealed kitchen designs, several inquiries arise.

Below, we have noted the most commonly asked questions:

TPB tech induction units can only be used with TPB tech worktops. Our unique layered technology ensures energy efficiency and also offers reinforced durability. When cooking, you are likely to move pans and like in every kitchen, accidents can happen and heavy objects can be dropped onto work surfaces. Our reinforced surface means that the surface will not crack or break, unless extreme pressure is applied.

TPB tech induction worktops are composed of 4 layers, with each serving its own specific purpose.

  • 1st Layer: 6mm Ceramic, scratch & stain proof
  • 2nd Layer: 0.5mm Aluminium for temperature control
  • 3rd Layer: 8mm Bakelite Resin providing shock absorption and enhanced ceramic durability
  • 4th Layer: 0.5mm Aluminium for flexibility and planimetry.

Unfortunately, no. Our invisible induction system is designed to work with our proprietary worktop material, which is 15mm thick and consists of four crucial layers. These layers ensure the reliability of precision induction cooking and resistance to temperature and impact. Although we cannot accommodate other materials, our worktops are competitively priced, ensuring you receive unparalleled value and performance.

Absolutely. While TPB tech worktops get hot, they are designed with safety and efficiency. Our cutting-edge worktop technology lets the surface cool down twice as quickly as traditional induction hobs. The worktop heats up from the pan’s heat, but thanks to our advanced elevation technology, only 50% of this heat is transferred to the surface, ensuring safety and comfort during use.

The largest single slab we can produce is 315x122cm, in most of our finishes. Some of our finishes are only available in 300x122cm. To find out more about each specific finish and available sizes, please give us a call to speak with an expert.

TPB tech Invisible Integrated Induction is a fully bespoke product. Each worktop, along with induction units, are custom made per order. Within the limitations of your workspace, you can have as many induction units as you would like but we like to personalise it based on your needs. First, consider how many hobs you need on a day to day basis, second, consider how many hobs you need for large events, family gatherings etc. and this will help to narrow down your requirements.

Should any issues arise with your induction units, resolving the problem is straightforward and hassle-free. The beauty of our system is that the worktop remains intact; there’s no need for its removal. We access the induction unit through the corresponding drawer or cupboard, replace the malfunctioning unit with a new one, and ensure everything is clean and functioning perfectly in no time.

Our standard lead time, from the date of order placement, is 8-10 weeks. Please note that a piece can only be delivered after the base furniture has been installed.

Yes, you can. A waterfall leg, with its mitred join from corner to corner, perfectly preserves your kitchen’s sleek, invisible aesthetic. For those looking for continuity in their kitchen’s design, we offer the option of book-matching your marble design across all surfaces. Please note that this customisation is available for an additional cost, allowing you to achieve the desired look.

Indeed, we do. TPB Tech UK prides itself on offering a comprehensive end-to-end service. To ensure seamless integration and functionality, it’s essential to inform us before your furniture production. This allows us to review your design, ensuring it meets our minimum requirements. Following furniture installation, our team will take precise measurements for your worktop and return for a professional fitting within a few weeks.

Hopefully this has helped to answer some initial questions but if you would like to speak with a TPB tech Canada expert to find out how we can work with you on your project, please give us a call or email us using the details below.
